Inserting and editing standard parts
The section Standard parts in the panel on the right is the user interface of the standard part library. The placement HUD at the bottom appears as soon as a standard part or a block hangs at the mouse.

Section Standard parts
Folder path
Selection field with the open folder (normteile › Maschinenbau › Schrauben). Choosing an entry changes the folder.
⟳ Reload the list from the server
Reads the folder tree of normteile/ again (Standard part list reloaded) — after placing new files.
Insert local standard part
Insert a local standard part opens the file dialog for a standard part file from your own computer (Command).
✎ Open a local standard part for editing
Opens a standard part file as a drawing (Command). The same ✎ at the top right of every tile opens the part from the server.
Search standard parts …
Live search across all folders by name or folder path, several words must all occur; Esc or the small ✕ at the right inside the field clears it (the ✕ since program version v3.0.39). How many result tiles appear at once is limited by the setup value Standard part search: at most matches (Live search).
Insert as block
Inserted standard parts immediately become a block with BOM data from the file (Insert as block). Kept as a setting.
On current layer
The part lands completely on the active layer; the standard part layers are not created (On current layer). Kept as a setting.
Tiles
Subfolders with folder icon, .. leads one level up, standard parts with preview image and name (tooltip: full name and path). Click: attach to the mouse. ✎: open for editing. For search hits: right-click opens the folder. Empty folder: This folder is empty.
