Creating a sheet

Goal

An A3 landscape sheet named “Overview”, with a frame and a title block — ready to print.

Steps

  1. Click the “+” tab (3) in the status bar. The sheet “Layout 1” appears in A4 landscape, carries one viewport and opens right away.
  2. Right-click the new tab (2). In the “Page setup” dialog choose format A3 and orientation Landscape (1), leave the margin at 10 mm (2), then “OK”.
  3. Double-click the tab, enter “Overview” as the name and confirm.
  4. Right-click an empty spot on the sheet → “🗒 Insert frame + title block” (2).

Result

The sheet carries the frame and title block (“Frame and title block inserted — n elements (freely editable)”); the sheet name appears in the “Title” field. Next, set up the viewports.

Tip

Set the format first and insert the frame and title block afterwards — both follow the sheet size and do not move along when the format is changed later.
