“Z levels” section

The section lists all occupied Z levels from top to bottom — plus always the drawing Z level, even if still empty. In the factory order it is the fifth.

Fields#

Eye#

Hides or shows all objects of the level (tooltip “Hide” / “Show”); when hidden the eye is pale. Hidden objects are neither drawn, snapped, selected nor printed (Hiding levels). Without an undo step; saved with the drawing.

Z n#

Click makes this level the drawing Z level for new objects (“Active Z level: n”); the active row is shaded, its number bold and blue. Tooltip “Set as the active Z level”.

n Obj.#

Number of elements, hatches and dimensions on this level.

“Move all objects on Z n one level up” or “… down”: shifts all objects of this level by one step — one undo step. This swaps the order of two levels without selecting the objects.
