Messages about printing and exporting

Messages appear in the status bar at the bottom or as a browser prompt.

Print area#

Position the print area — click = fix, Ctrl+wheel = scale, wheel = zoom#

Status bar when the print dialog opens in model space.

Print area fixed — click the canvas = reposition, 🖨 = print#

Status bar after the click on the drawing area.

Popup blocked — please allow popups#

Status bar when the browser suppressed the window. Remedy: allow popups for the program’s address and print again.

Print profiles#

Profile name (e.g. “Workshop”, “Draft”, “Plotter A0”):#

Prompt after 💾. An existing name updates that profile.

No profile name given#

Status bar when the entry was empty.

Print profile "name" saved / Print profile "name" updated#

Status bar after 💾.

Print profile "name" activated#

Status bar after choosing an entry in the profile list; all line widths, print colors and collective values are set.

Print profile "name" activated — no profile values for layers: names#

Addition when the drawing contains layers the profile does not know. Those layers keep their previous values. Remedy: enter the values and save the profile under the same name again.

From drawing — the original attributes (line width & color) from the file are printed#

Status bar after choosing “From drawing”; the layer rows are disabled then.

No profile chosen / Profile not found#

Status bar when deleting without a selection, or for a profile that no longer exists.

Delete print profile "name"?#

Prompt after 🗑.

Export#

n elements selected. OK = export the selection only / Cancel = export all elements#

Status bar when nothing visible is present. Remedy: show hidden layers or Z levels again.

Groups in the printout#

Group is printed — click: exclude from printing / Group is NOT printed — click: print again#

Tooltip on the 🖨 of a group row (Eye, lock and printing).
