Set up favourites

Goal

Have the five tools you work with daily right next to the drawing area — independent of ribbon or classic toolbar.

Steps

  1. Right-click the button Line in the ribbon → Add to favourites. The status bar reports Added to favourites.
  2. The same for circle, trim, fillet and hatch — or drag the button into the palette with the mouse button held down.
  3. Drag the entries in the palette into the desired order.
  4. Remove a tool no longer needed with the × on the entry or by right-clicking the button → Remove from favourites.
  5. Move the palette by its header to the desired place.

Result

The favourites are saved on this computer and are back at the next start. For a second computer: Save/load settings → Export (JSON) and there Import (JSON).
