Redo

Purpose#

Restores a step that was taken back with Undo.

Access#

• Key: Ctrl + Y.
• Ribbon: group Action Redo (2).
• Classic toolbar: button Redo (2).
• Command search : Redo.

Procedure#

One call brings back the most recently taken-back step; the status bar reports Redo. As soon as you make a new change after an undo, the redo list is empty — the discarded branch can no longer be recovered.
