How do I save my own standard part?

1. Draw the part so that the desired insertion point lies at the origin (0, 0) — easiest is to draw it there or to move the finished part with snap onto the origin.
2. Put the elements on suitable layers (contour, centre line, hidden); the layers are saved along.
3. Select all elements of the part.
4. Right-click → 🧩 Save as standard part, enter the name (e.g. ISO 4762 M6x20 (Ansicht)), Enter. The browser downloads Name.json.
5. Place the file on the server in normteile/<category>/ and press ⟳ in the panel.

Add BOM data#

The command writes no BOM fields. Add a field bom with name, artnr, norm, material, einheit in the file — it is taken over when inserting as block. Or maintain the data on the block after inserting.

Change an existing standard part#

✎ in the panel (or on a tile) opens the file as a drawing. Change, select all elements, Save as standard part again with the same name — and replace the file on the server.
