Save/load settings (Setup)

Purpose#

Opens the Settings dialog with language, input mode, precision, drawing & snap, appearance, dimension layer, view & mouse, line types and the buttons for saving, loading, exporting, importing and resetting.

Access#

• Ribbon: gear at the right of the bar (1), then 💾 Setup (2).
• Classic toolbar: gear on the right, entry Setup (the same list).
• Command search : type settings or setup, entry Save/load settings (category File).

Procedure#

1. Call the command. The dialog appears centred, the drawing is dimmed.
2. Change fields. Language and icon size (constraints) take effect immediately, everything else with Apply.
3. Apply saves permanently and leaves the dialog open — the fields are rebuilt from the saved state, limited values are visible at once (Settings applied). Close or a click beside the dialog discards changes not applied.
