Stack objects
Goal
Two filled areas overlap; the grey area A should cover the blue area B.
Steps
- Select area A (rectangle and hatch).
- Right-click → “Bring to front” (1) — or Ctrl + ↑, or ⇈ in the “Z level” row of the “Properties” panel.
- For checking open the “Z levels” section: A now lies on a new, highest level.
- If a whole level should disappear temporarily, click its eye in the section; △/▽ shifts all objects of the level without selecting them.
Result
Status bar “Brought to front (2 objects)”. The order applies on screen, in print and in export.
Tip
So that dimension values never vanish below a filled area, Dimensions to back puts all dimensions together on the lowest level — or you draw areas on a lower drawing Z level from the start (Header bar).
