Auto Snap Settings
Purpose
Opens the Auto Snap Settings dialog: which of the seven snap types the snap mode Automatic (Q) looks for, whether grid snap works with the grid hidden and how auto-weld operates.
Access
- Status bar (both layouts): button ⚙ Snap on the right (1).
- Command search : type snap or weld, entry Auto snap settings (category Dialog).
Procedure
- Call the command; the dialog shows the saved state of the checkboxes.
- Check or uncheck snap types, set up auto-weld.
- OK saves and reports Snap settings saved · auto-weld: …; Cancel discards.
