Dialogs Weld
The command Weld asks for the tolerance before the operation and reports the result afterwards.

Tolerance
Millimetres greater than 0 (default 0.01; afterwards the last confirmed value). Endpoints of the selected elements lying closer together than the tolerance are joined into a shared point. Small values join only what practically lies together already; larger ones close gaps — with the warning in the dialog: Large tolerances can shift individual elements geometrically — endpoints farther apart get pulled together. Zero or an empty field is rejected (Please enter a tolerance greater than 0).
Weld, Cancel
Weld (also Enter) performs the operation with the entered tolerance and remembers it. Cancel or Esc closes without a change.

Shifted elements
If endpoints had to be moved to come together, the orange line names k element(s) were shifted geometrically (max. x mm) and the table below lists each element with type, shortened identifier and amount of the shift; amounts from the tolerance upwards are orange. With more than 200 entries … n more follows. If all points already lay together, it reads No element was shifted — all joined endpoints were already together.
OK
Closes the dialog; the status line keeps the short version. If the result is not right, Ctrl + Z undoes the whole operation.
