Zoom window

Purpose#

Enlarges a framed section of the drawing to the full drawing area.

Access#

• Key: W.
• Ribbon: group Action Zoom window (5).
• Classic toolbar: button Zoom window (5).
• Command search : Zoom window.

Procedure#

1. The pointer becomes a magnifier; the status bar reports Window zoom: frame an area (press a corner and drag, or two clicks) — stays active, ESC or right mouse button ends it.
2. Press a corner and drag the opposite corner — or click two corners one after the other. The frame is shown in orange.
3. On release or at the second click the area fills the window.
4. The command stays active for further sections; Esc, a right-click or another click on the button ends it.
