Remark (dialog)
Overview
The dialog appears as soon as the position of the box has been clicked for a remark, and likewise when double-clicking an existing remark.
The fields

| Text field | the text of the remark, several lines possible |
| Show leader arrow | shows or hides the leader line with its tip (factory on). Without it, only the box counts for zoom and the selection rectangle (v3.0.45). |
| Colour swatches | eight pastel tones for the box: yellow (default), light orange, pink, green, blue, violet, grey, white. The chosen swatch carries a coloured border; the border tone of the box is derived from the colour (v3.0.45). |
| Automatic size | discards a box size dragged by hand — effective only with OK. If the size is automatic anyway, the button stays pale and its tooltip says The size is already automatic (v3.0.49). |
| “Cancel” | discards the entry; a new remark is removed again |
| “OK” | accepts text, arrow, colour and the Automatic size choice |
An empty text counts as declining: the new remark is not created, an existing one stays unchanged.
Effect
After “OK” the status bar reports, for a new remark, “Remark placed — click the next arrow tip (ESC ends)”; the tool stays active for further remarks. When editing, the change is one undo step.
