“Viewport” menu

Overview

On a sheet, the right-click menu of the drawing area gains two entries at the very top and — when the pointer is over a viewport — the section “VIEWPORT”. All other entries (Cut, Copy, Isolate, Group, stacking …) stay unchanged.

On the empty sheet

(1) Draw new viewport, (2) Insert frame + title block

Both appear in paper space only, and only when nothing is being drawn.

The section appears in the “Select” tool only. If a hatch or a dimension lies under the pointer as well, their entries appear alongside — you choose instead of the program guessing.

Locked viewport

On a locked viewport, “Edit”, “Move” and “Resize” are missing, and “Lock” becomes “🔓 Unlock” (1). “Fit to contents”, “Viewport settings…”, “Copy” and “Delete” remain.

Note

As of v3.0.23, “Fit to contents” works on a locked viewport too and changes its view and scale.
