Circle

Purpose#

Draws a full circle over centre and radius.

Access#

• Key: C.
• Ribbon: group Draw Circle (3); in the triangle next to it Circle (3 points) and the tangent circles.
• Classic toolbar: button Circle (5).
• Command search : Circle.

Procedure#

1. Click the centre (1) — the snap Center helps to hit concentric circles.
2. The preview follows the mouse; the input field shows radius R and diameter ⌀ — both fields accept input, the other one is calculated along.
3. Click the radius (2) — or type the value, Enter.

With the checkbox Create dimension while drawing set, a diameter dimension is created whose dimension line runs through the radius point.

Options#

None of its own; snap, tracking and pick up attributes as with the Line.
