Remove from group

Purpose

Releases the selected elements, dimensions and hatches from their groups; the objects themselves stay unchanged.

Select elements; without a prior selection the post-selection starts.
Call the command. Status bar: “Selection removed from group(s)”. If nothing belongs to a group: “The selection belongs to no group”.

Dimensions whose reference element leaves the group drop out of the group as well.
A group that becomes empty disappears by itself — intentionally empty groups and groups with subgroups stay.
To dissolve a whole group, use “⊟ Dissolve grouping” in the row (Dissolving and deleting).
One undo step.
