Insert axis cross
Purpose
Places an axis cross of two centre lines into circles and arcs — the usual way of marking bores in a technical drawing. The lines are created on the factory layer “ACHSEN” if you wish.
Access
- Ribbon: group “File”, button Axis cross (5).
- Classic toolbar: group “File & import/export” — in the overflow menu “☰” at 1400 pixels.
- Command search : “axis cross” (category File).
- No keyboard shortcut.
Procedure
- Call the command. The status bar reports “Axis cross: choose target circles — click or rubber band, buttons All / Only without cross / None, Enter creates”; the selection bar “✛ Axis cross” appears at the top. The selection starts empty.
- Choose the target circles: singly with a click or Shift + click, several with the rubber band. Only circles and arcs are selectable. The buttons “All circles”, “Only without cross” and “None” set the selection in one go.
- Enter or “Next…” opens the dialog “Axis cross into circles”.
- Set overshoot, angle, centre gap and line style, then “Insert axis cross”.
- The status bar reports “Axis cross inserted: n circle(s)/arc(s), m element(s)”.

Effect
Inserting is one undo step. LiberoDraft remembers the circles it has processed: the button “Only without cross” skips them next time. The axis crosses are ordinary lines and can be changed and deleted individually.
