Drawing info dialog

The dialog opens via the file menu → Drawing info… or the command Drawing info. Its data is stored in the drawing file (also for DMS and project management); it is not part of the program settings. The window can be moved by its title, Enter confirms, Esc cancels.

Drawing no.#

Free text (placeholder e.g. Z-2026-001). The number appears in the window title of the browser and, together with title and revision, forms the suggested file name when saving.

Title#

Name of the drawing; the field has the focus when the dialog opens.

Revision#

Revision state (placeholder e.g. A).

Scale, ⤓ Print#

Scale as text (placeholder e.g. 1:2). The button ⤓ Print takes scale and paper format from the current print settings (for instance 1:1 and A4 landscape).

Paper#

Paper format and orientation as text (placeholder e.g. A4 landscape).

Author#

The author is additionally remembered in the browser (cad2d_autor) and taken along by the settings transfer.

Tags#

Keywords separated by commas (comma-separated).

Notes#

Multi-line free text; Enter inserts a line break here, confirmation is by OK.

OK, Cancel#

OK adopts the data, marks the drawing as changed and reports Drawing info applied · Z-2026-001 (with the number if present). Cancel or Esc discards.
