Redraw

Purpose#

Cancels all running functions, recalculates derived data (hatch boundaries, lists in the panel, layer and properties display, floating menu) and redraws the drawing area. The geometry stays unchanged; the command is the reset when the display no longer matches the content or a function hangs.

Access#

• Key: F5.
• Ribbon: group Actions — with a narrow window the group is collapsed, the triangle (1) opens it; entry Redraw (2).
• Classic toolbar: button Redraw (1) on the right among the actions.
• Command search : type redraw or refresh (category View, shortcut F5).

Procedure#

One call is enough; the status bar reports Redrawn — all running functions cancelled. An open selection remains, a started drawing command is ended.
