“Page setup” dialog
Overview
The dialog appears in the middle of the screen after a right-click on the sheet tab; the title names the sheet (“Page setup — Layout 1”).
(1) Format and orientation
Two lists side by side: format A4 (210 × 297), A3, A2, A1 or A0; orientation “Landscape” or “Portrait”. Together they give the sheet size in millimetres.
(2) Margin
One number field for the margin in mm (0–50, default 10). The value applies to all four sides and defines the print margin the drawing frame sits on.
(3) Insert frame + title block
Closes the dialog and places frame and title block on the sheet (Frame and title block). Format and margin changes not yet confirmed with “OK” are not taken into account — confirm first, then reopen.
(4) Delete layout, Cancel, OK
- “Delete layout” (red): removes the sheet after the prompt “Delete layout “n” permanently? All sheet elements of this layout will be lost (cannot be undone).” — no undo.
- “Cancel” or Esc: discards the changes.
- “OK” or Enter: applies format, orientation and margin as one undo step.
