Measure
Purpose
Queries dimensions and properties without changing the drawing: length, angle, coordinates, distances, areas. The values appear in the window Measure and in colour in the drawing and can be copied to the clipboard.
Access
- Key: I.
- Ribbon: group Navigation Measure (2).
- Classic toolbar: button Measure (2).
- Command search : Measure.
Procedure
- The window Measure opens at the top centre; the list at the top chooses the mode.
- Depending on the mode click an element or points — with object snap. The window shows the values, the drawing the measured distance in orange, ΔX in red and ΔY in green.
- Kopieren puts the values as text into the clipboard (Measured values copied); Schliessen or V ends the tool.

In viewports of the paper space model values are measured; the window points this out with Model values through viewport.
Options
All options are in the window: Window Measure. The unit follows the dimension unit of the drawing (Units).
