Creating a coordinate table

Goal#

The position of every bore as a table next to the drawing — readable in the workshop, transferable to the machine.

Steps#

1. Place a point for every bore: by hand with Point, evenly spread with Distribute points or, with the axis cross, through the tick “set the center as a point”.
2. Ribbon, group “File” → button Coordinates (4).
3. Set title and decimal places in the dialog; set “Item no. prefix” to P, for instance, if the numbers should read P1, P2 …
4. “Create table”, then place it next to the drawing with a click.

Result#

A table of lines and texts in a group of its own, plus the item numbers at the points.
