Placing axis crosses

Goal#

Every bore carries centre lines on the layer “ACHSEN” — cleanly and in a single operation.

Steps#

1. Ribbon, group “File” → button Axis cross (5).
2. Press “All circles” in the selection bar — or click the circles you want individually.
3. Enter or “Next…”.
4. Set the overshoot (factory: 3), leave the line style at “Center line”, keep “Place on the axes layer” ticked.
5. If you will need a coordinate table later, also tick “Set the center as a point”.
6. “Insert axis cross”.

Result#

Every circle chosen carries an axis cross. If bores are added later, the button “Only without cross” suffices next time — it leaves the circles already done aside.
