Dialog BOM data

The dialog opens with the command Block BOM, via the row button ✎ in the panel Blocks or BOM data in the Block manager. All values belong to the definition and apply to all instances; at the top right stands n× in the drawing. Context: BOM data per block.

Fields#

Block name#

The name of the definition as used by panel, Block manager and files. Empty is not applied.

Designation#

Text in the column Designation of the parts list; preset with the block name on creation. If it is missing and the article number is missing too, the block counts as no BOM data.

Article number#

Key of the parts list: blocks with the same article number form one item (Article number as key). Variants automatically receive the suffix -2.

Standard, Material, Weight, Supplier, Price#

Free text fields; they appear as columns in the dialog and the CSV. Standard and material additionally in the inserted table.

Unit#

Quantity unit, default Stk.

Remark#

Multi-line text, last column in the dialog and the CSV. When a standard part is inserted as block, notes and tags of the part land here.

List as a single part in the BOM#

On (default): the block is one item, contained sub-blocks do not count. Off: the assembly is broken down — otherwise the contained blocks are counted (As a single part). Without sub-blocks the check box has no effect.

Buttons#

Save applies all fields, increases the block version and reports BOM data saved: Name. Cancel, Esc or a click beside the dialog discard.
