Print dialog
Overview
The dialog is a floating window that can be dragged by its title bar “🖨 Print”. It stays open while you place the print area; ✕ and “Close” end it (“Ready”).
The note line in paper space
On a sheet the top line reads “Paper space: Layout 1 — A4 Landscape — Sheet prints 1:1, scale per viewport”; paper, orientation, scale and margins are greyed out because the sheet defines them.
(1) Paper
A4, A3, A2, A1, A0, Letter or Legal.
(2) Orientation
“Landscape” or “Portrait”; keys Q and H.
(3) Scale
Two fields “A : B” in steps of 0.5 (0.5 minimum). 1:2 prints at half size, 2:1 at double size. Ctrl + wheel changes B in 10 % steps and writes the value into the field.
(4) Margins (mm) — per side
Four fields for top, bottom, left and right (0–80, default 10). They limit the printable area and carry the frame from (5).

(6) Print calibration
Expandable. “Measured on paper (mm)” and “Target length (mm)” give the factor that scales the paper output only; the display shows the factor and the deviation in percent, in orange from 10 %. “Reset” restores 1.0000.
(7) Line widths (mm)
Expandable; controls width and color in the printout.
(1) Profile list
“— choose profile —” frees the layer rows; “From drawing” (default) prints each element’s original attributes and disables the rows below; a saved profile name sets every value at once (“Print profile "Workshop" activated”).
(2) 💾 and 🗑
💾 saves the current values under a name (prompt asking for a profile name); an existing name is updated. 🗑 deletes the chosen profile after a confirmation. Matching runs via the layer name (Print profiles).
(3) Layer rows
Per layer a color field (click opens the color picker for the print color) and a number field for the width in mm. Pre-filled from the layer’s “Printer line width (mm)” (Edit layer).
(4) ◇ Dimensions and (5) ▤ Hatches
Two collective values in mm: dimension and extension lines (equally thick per ISO/DIN, typically 0.25 mm) and hatch lines (typically 0.1–0.25 mm). Arrow length and dimension text height come from the dimension settings and are not listed here.
(8) Key hints
“Mouse wheel = zoom · Ctrl+wheel = scale · H/Q = portrait/landscape”.
(9) Close and Print
“Close” ends print mode, “🖨 Print” builds the page and opens the print window.
