How do I create a block?
- Draw the part once — for example a hole with centre cross.
- Select all elements of the part with Select; dimensions that hang completely on the part come along automatically.
- Set the base point: drag the gizmo pivot to the desired point (e.g. the hole centre). Without gizmo the program takes the centre of the selection.
- Right-click → 🧩 Create block or in the panel Blocks the button Create block from selection.
- Type the name, Enter. The selection is now a block instance; the definition is listed in the section Blocks.

Inserting further instances
Click the block name or + in the panel Blocks. The block hangs at the mouse; every click places an instance, R rotates by 90°, Esc ends. Snapping applies to the base point — with centre snap the hole lands exactly on a circle.

Assembly of blocks
Select geometry and existing instances together and create a block from them — it contains the instances as sub-blocks. This is how the Bearing block in the example is made from a rectangle and two holes (Nesting).
