“Properties” panel
The “Properties” section shows and changes the values of the current selection. Without a selection it says “No element selected”.
Depending on the selection one of four branches appears: one element, several elements, dimensions only (attribute panel) or hatches only (hatch “Properties” panel).
One element
Header
Type in capitals (LINE, RECT, CIRCLE, ARC, POLYLINE, SPLINE, IMAGE, TEXT, LEADER, BLOCKREF), the id in square brackets and “● layer name” in the layer colour. If the element belongs to a group, the blue group path “⊞ Rahmen › Motor” follows — click shows the group in the tree (Selection in the tree).
Geometry
Own fields per type; Enter or leaving a field applies the value, drags coincident endpoints along, runs the constraint solver and recalculates affected hatches. Every change is one undo step.

For a block instance the panel shows only the header; insertion point, rotation and scale are changed via the gizmo window (v3.0.23).
Layer
Drop-down “n: Name”. Changing it re-assigns the element and adopts colour and screen width of the target layer (Layers).
Width (screen)
Line width in pixels (tooltip: “Line width on screen in pixels; in print the print width of the layer applies, otherwise about 0.2 mm per pixel”).
Colour
Colour picker; the colour applies to this element only.
Line style
“— from layer —” (default) or one of the eight types: Solid, Dashed, Dotted, Dash-dot, Center line, Sealing layer, Ventilation grid, Structural bonding. An own line style overrides the layer line type for this element only. When changing to a special type the element receives the snapshot of the current pattern values (Line types).
Line type factor
Visible only with an own special type: stretches or compresses the pattern of this element (0.05–100, factory 1); multiplies with the factor of the type from the “Line types” dialog.
Z level
Current level and the four buttons ⇊ ↓ ↑ ⇈ (Stack).
Several elements
The header counts (“5 elements”, plus “+ 2 dims” if dimensions are selected too) and shows the group paths. To layer (“— choose —”) re-assigns all elements and adopts colour and width of the target (“5 elements moved to layer "…"”); width and colour apply to all (with mixed colours the field is grey); line style shows “— mixed —” if the elements differ and otherwise sets all to the chosen style (“5 elements: line style …”); Z level as above.
