From 2D CAD in the browser to a complete drafting environment: Since version 1.0, features such as sheets with viewports, dimensioning with custom dimension types, hatching, groups, and DXF import and export have been added - and most recently, a whole range of new tools: Mitered double lines, the complete tangent family, slotted holes and banana holes with live fields and width values taken directly from the drawing, plus an “Isolate” feature for focused work in crowded drawings. • Major updates to paper space and layouts
In this expansion stage, a fully fledged paper space emerged: multiple sheets (layouts) per drawing, viewports with their own scale, per-viewport layer and object-type visibility — and dimensioning directly through the viewport with automatic updates when the model changes. Also numerous day-to-day improvements, from the BOM with position balloons to interaction with add-ons.
